Momentum Luxury Rentals will execute a market study and provide a cost analysis of services that the property incurs. Foreigners who are residents in Mexico and who receive income in our country are considered taxpayers and must pay taxes in the same way as nationals; Consequently, they must comply with the obligations that correspond to the regime by which they receive the income generated.
Due to the fact that Momentum Luxury Rentals will make the payments to the owners, MLR will retain 25% for ISR, therefore MLR will deliver the taxes to SAT (Tax Administration System). Although MLR is not the cause of the tax, the law considers us jointly liable for the obligation to cover the amounts to the federal treasury for the corresponding amount according to the income you will have.
Momentum Luxury Rentals will provide a monthly Statement of Account to the property owner, reporting the number of nights that the house was rented and the expected revenue. The next step would be for the property owner to issue an invoice with the amount of the transfer. Momentum will make a transfer to the owner’s bank account. In the event that a bank transfer is made to a bank abroad, the corresponding bank fees w are to be the responsibility and covered by the owner of the house.
No, you do not need permits, the documentation you need to apply for this program is a copy of the Residence Card.
